One of the biggest highlights of October is the State Fair! This year, we surprised the kids by getting them out of school early; for what they thought was a doctor appointment....Dr. Big Tex!!! We had the Midway all to ourselves since it just happened to be Senior Day. Yep, left a chunk of my retirement there, but it was so fun watching the kids make some memories. Being very careful not to lose anybody, I used a black marker to write phone numbers on the back of each one of them. Ok, so I lost my car keys....enough said.
