It's back...the Byron Nelson Golf tournament. Like Christmas, it comes around every year. The traffic is awful so it makes getting in and out of the neighborhood difficult. We do enjoy watching the people...this is when Larry really misses "Drop Dead Fred," (his truck that back fired). The kids learned to profit off the Byron early on. They had a lot of fun selling lemonade and bottled water close to the tournament gate. Larry kept them supplied with ice and LeAnn and I kept the beverages flowing. It was a lot of work for us but it was fun watching the kids learn about free enterprise. These three raked in some major bucks! Andy handled the money, Lisa served up the lemonade, and Brittney...well, Brittney handled public relations!
"Help us go to church camp!" How could anybody turn that down?
