Charleston, South Carolina: the most magnificent city of the Old South! The girls and I took a long weekend and indulged ourselves in some good old Southern charm. Charleston is full of beautiful old homes, gardens, churches, and historic sights. This is just a few of my favorite things.
St. Michaels
Ft. Sumter where the first shot of the Civil War was fired.
The "Dead End" alley where many duels were fought.

The Old Slave Mart where the slaves were bought and sold.
