More August

Sweet Sydney and Ford are back at Oakridge!  Sydney is a junior and will start looking at colleges this year.  And Ford?  He's in the 6th
grade and still trying to figure out which sport he likes best.  Baseball or football?

Well, this was hard on me, much less their Mom and Dad.  Jack and Ella are both at Grand Canyon Christian University.  Jack is in his senior year and Ella is a freshman.  Jack will be watching Ms. Ella very closely.  Very closely.

Move in day.  The day that you bring a BIG tool box, a lot of patience, and some major muscle.  Male muscle is fine.  Maybe better!

Below are just some random fun pictures from August.  The hottest month of the year!

A family dinner celebrating our 50th.  Amazing what 50 years can create.  We don't get enough of these moments.

Diane did an amazing job planning our event.  Here she is resting with our good friend, Donna.

Sydney is trying to sleep off all the excitement.

Beth's neighbor left this treat for her.  Wine and tissues for her empty nest.  I'm sure she went thru that wine before she needed the kleenex.

Momma Mia in Ft. Worth!

Sadly, funerals are the only time we see some really great friends.  Such was the case for Beth.  High school friends!

The usual wrestling match of these two cousins.  Ford is really gaining on Jackson, and he may well have him gridlocked by Christmas!

Don't mess with your girl cousins.  It will come back to you.  Ford found this out when he woke up slithered with shaving cream.

And lastly, my happy place.  The place where I start my day and end it.  So many prayers have been made on this old patio.  There is nothing really special about it...but then there is!

See you in September!
