My Country

The Robert E. Lee Chapel in Lexington, Va.
There are so many things that are going on in our country today that it is hard not to get discouraged. Last week, my family had a stressful couple of hours before we knew that my young cousin was safe at Ft. Hood. It is hard to even imagine what those families of the victims are going through. These are scary times and the future is uncertain, but I do believe that our country is still the best nation in the world. Am I grateful to be a part of it? Yes, because I know that at the end of the day... God is in control! Jeremiah 29:11-13
