Larry saw a bumper sticker the other day..."Don't shake my family tree, you might find root rot!" After I lost my Mother I became obsessed with the family tree. Mom didn't talk much about the past. She said it wasn't anything to brag about. She grew up in the depression and survived some really hard times. When we started going through all of the old pictures, many of them were not even marked. I have been trying to piece together as much as I can. This I know, the older people get... the more they talk! My Dad and Larry's Mom have started letting go of some pretty good stories. Meanwhile, I intend to keep shaking the family trees!
